Job Responsibilities:

HR Performance Measurement

  • Develop HR Score card to facilitate measurement of efficiency & effectiveness of HR function
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring performance on the HR scorecard

Performance Management

  • Drive performance, accountability & alignment with business imperatives
  • Design the performance appraisal system
  • Execute the Performance Management Process with regard to Goal Setting, Performance Discussions, Yearly Reviews & Consequence Management at the plant level
  • Design and implement the variable pay scheme
  • Measure effectiveness of the appraisal system and constantly review the process in alignment with the business requirement

Manpower Planning

  • Conduct manpower planning with focus on productivity and optimum utilization of manpower
  • Identify issues and process gaps to improve alignment, manpower productivity and minimize redundancies

Recruitment & Selection

  • Attract high quality talent into the Organization within the defined timelines & cost

Talent management

  • Build the talent pipeline for critical positions by developing robust Career & Succession planning mechanisms
  • Conduct capability assessment for employees, identify gaps and accordingly formulate development plans

Relationship Management

  • Develop a cordial relationship with all stakeholders for effective employees relations
  • Liaise with other functional / departmental head to understand expectations from HR
  • Strategize to proactively maintain good industrial relations
  • Maintain good networking in the industrial belt
  • Participate in various forms of HR to network with other professionals in the industry
  • Engage with the leadership team and manage stake holder expectations

Employee Engagement

  • Design and build employee engagement/retention initiatives including reward & recognition, appreciation, celebrations and othernon-monetary reward schemes and drive the same
  • Identify employee issues and address grievances/ dissatisfaction cases, etc.

Culture & Change Management

  • Support the leadership team in driving the desired culture and ensuring that the values of the organization are upheld at all times
  • Lead/ Support Change Management at BU Level

Department Level Activities

  • Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
  • Ensure integration with organizational requirement for quality management, health and safety, legal, environmental policies and general duty of care



  • MSW or post-graduation in HRD


  • 6- 16 years
