Our client is a start-up player in the foods category space in India. They currently have apresence in multiple cities including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Chennai, Pune and Delhi

JOB PROFILE:

  • Primarily play a leadership role within the business being the executive in charge of the Business Development Department.
  • Responsible for the direct management of key marketing and communications objectives aimed at maximizing new business effectiveness, for example, PR, digital, and so forth.
  • Tasked with leading a strategic role where he / she executes outreach strategies by prospecting new businesses in order to utilize all available channels.
  • The role is also a highly collaborative position where he/she works closely with all key members of the company across departments.
  • Drive and manage the revenue cycle to deliver results in accordance with agreed KPIs.
  • Should have strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels formats like General Trade, Modern Trade, etc.
  • Responsible for the identification of new business opportunities through digital channels such as e-commerce, online marketplaces, etc.
  • Conduct regular performance, marketing and competitive analyses of the business in order to identify opportunities and insights for strategic decision-making.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Post graduate with 14 – 20 years of experience.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of building a sustainable distribution network preferably for new products / segments & exceeding budgets consistently.
  • Relevant industry knowledge & relationships will be a significant advantage.
  • Strong business orientation; experience of managing P&L and achieving scale.
  • Demonstrable ability to establish and positively develop a high growth company.
  • Ability to take decisions with conviction.
  • Comfortable with risk.
  • Possess a penchant for working in a fast growing company.
  • Constructive and creative problem solver.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Ability to cope with and respond positively to change.
  • Constructive and skilled negotiator.
