Our client is a large private equity buyout firm, headquartered in Mumbai. Their portfolio companies cut across sectors such as financial services, IT and consumer.

JOB PROFILE:

Pre-investment:

  • Provide support on the HR due diligence process in identified potential investments. Review all the HR related practices, policies and processes
  • Present findings and action items to be delivered on (PMS/ Compensation, Benefits, Rewards etc.)

Post Investment:

  • Support the key HR initiatives to be taken for the Businesses as a part of the 100-day plan
  • Implement solutions/ interventions identified at pre-investment stage.
  • Ensure that the HR Toolkit is implemented in new companies and there is compliance of all identified key processes in the first year of Acquisition
  • Assist the CPO in setting up goals of the identified team members of the portfolio company.
  • Provide assistance in the development of a relevant organization design
  • Assist CPO to ensure participation of Businesses in the ‘Great Place to Work’ survey

Business Leadership (Summer & Management Trainee) Program:

  • Responsible for Management Trainee Program for hiring best in class talent across the 3 identified - Institutes IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kolkata
  • Manage the induction, orientation and deployment of the summer interns and MTs in portfolio companies
  • Assess the summer trainees to determine their eligibility for a PPO
  • Manage transition of Management trainees from campus to corporate

Firm HR:

Anchor HR Processes of at a Firm level including:

  • Performance management (including enhancing robustness of processes like goal setting, feedback and individual development program)
  • Employee engagement initiatives including culture building
  • Policy design and implementation – benchmarking relevant and identified policies and recommend changes to be industry leader
  • Talent development and management including Annual & Mid-Year anchoring of PDP process with execution and follow through the year on development actions identified
  • Analyst program: Responsible for Analyst hiring, induction, training and assessment with a feedback mechanism built and facilitate the mentoring of Analysts
  • HR Operations - handle end to end HR operation for all touch points in employee lifecycle

Others:

  • Assist CPO on Employer Branding initiatives
  • Provide support on the planning and execution of the Annual HR Conference (TN Businesses HR Heads Conclave)

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Qualification & Experience:

  • M.B.A. in HR from premiere institute
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience; post professional degree
  • Experience of Generalist / Business HR of an organization coupled with an experience in HR consulting in multiple areas of HR would be an ideal profile.


Must have Competencies:

  • Excellence & Results Oriented with high level of energy and enthusiasm to enroll people in change programs
  • Strong People skills, Communication & Influencing
  • HR Competencies – Hiring, Talent Management, Performance Management & Culture Building
  • Conceptual skills to design & deliver programs, systems and processes, including policies that create enabling workplaces
