Our client is a new age private sector bank. They have 87 branches spread over Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat, Delhi & U T of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. About 57 branches are under Core Banking network and remaining on TBS platform.


  • Responsible for managing the Corporate portfolio for the bank from a risk perspective
  • Managing changing exposure strategies
  • Identification, measurement and approval of risks
  • Responsible for portfolio quality, credit processes, stress testing, risk defeasance strategies, risk ratings and rating methodologies
  • Expansion of the target market to new clients with difficult credit profiles thereby building new revenue avenues
  • Prescribe key credit terms and financial covenants in ISDA’s, CSA’s and other legal documents supporting derivative transactions
  • Early identification of problem segments and credits
  • Remedial management skills keeping credit costs negligible
  • Put in place/review policies/processes/products/rating systems/risk based pricing etc. in consultation with business
  • Ensure quality in credit approvals across products, particularly in material counter credit risk exposures
  • Design required processes for approval of credit so as to ensure timely inputs/sign offs from risk
  • Analyse counterparty risk, supplementing business appraisal and ensure timely credit decision
  • Monitor the portfolio on an ongoing basis, highlight deviations and risk indicators
  • Oversee Operations & Market Risk & work with the regional teams
  • Implement and maintain a set of risk metrics and reports, including losses and incidents, key exposures, early warning indicators, risk triggers and propose action plan to address risk triggers.
  • To uphold / implement the Bank’s values and business principles by complying with the rules and regulations


    • Should have at least 19+ years of banking experience of which atleast 5 years in a credit risk role
    • Should have carried out detailed balance sheet / PnL analysis of Large Indian corporates as well as an understanding of global corporates
    • A strong knowledge of corporate banking and investment banking products as a coverage or relationship banker would be an added advantage
    • Should have strong communication and leadership skills to enable him / her to defend credit approvals / disapprovals of products / credit lines to relationship managers, senior product managers or business managers across the bank
    • Business judgment including both Credit & Business risk assessments
    • Persistence and Strong Influencing skills
    • Ability to work and lead a team
